New pictures today!!!!
This he is watching a green dot on the mirror with his eyes and moving his head back and forth and in circles and up and down! He wants to go really fast on everything he does and it is hard for him to slow down and do it right!
This is sooo funny, doesnt he look thrilled??? I have no idea what brought that face on, he was relly having a good time!!! But, this is the eye patch he wears, he cant see out of it, but WE can see what his eye is doing!!
He is reading with 2 different lenses. He reads a sentence and switches to the other lens. They are different strengths, he was having a hard time today!! Then we patch the other eye and he does the same thing! He read about hiccups today!!
He LOVES to do this! He is standing looking through some glasses and he has one pencil on a top left dot and one pencil on a bottom right dot and he draws lines from the dots to the center. He got a little sloppy today, he did better last week!
When he looks through the glasses it looks like the lines meet, but they really dont! This was his sloppy work today!!
Now he is sitting down to do it, this one looked alot better, you know MR. ADHD constantly moving when he is standing up, and that is what made the other one look messy!!!!
Playing new games tonight! He has to jump the marble up each number in the egg carton!!

He has to bounce the ball with each hand and then both hands and then pass it back and forth and read the letters on this chart at the same time!!
We had a great day at vision therapy!! Thanks Miss Jean!!!!

What a treat!! Aarons dad took pictures of him doing his vision therapy with Miss Jean today!! So, here they are!!

Here he is using some lenses to read with, he reads some with the lenses and then he reads some without them. His other eye is patched so he cant see out of it and then we switch.

Here he is doing one of his primitive reflex excercises, this one is called Superman he says, and he told me it was frustrating!!! He has to lay on his belly and hold his arms up and put his thumbs together. Then he takes one arm around the side and behind him and he has to keep the other hand still. He said it was hard!!

OK, so he has to mark a spot on the chalkboard where his nose is at and he stares at that spot and with both hands at the same time he draws circles, sometimes both clockwise and sometimes both counterclockwise and sometimes opposite of each other. They should look like perfect circles and be seperated like his ones on the left. What happened Aaron??? Those were his bicycle circles haha Well i think we will keep practicing this one at home!!!!

Well this will be hard to explain. He has two dots on the chalkboard and he has two pencils in his hands. Same means he takes the pencil in his right hand and point to the right side dot with it and with his right foot forward, meanwhile keeping the other hand down by his side (Dad said he had a real hard time keeping his other hand down!!) . So then opposite of course is right hand, left foot pointing to right spot. And then crossover will be right hand, right foot to left spot. And so on and so on, i think i am confuseing myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaron showed me this tonight. He is holding his thumb up and shutting his eyes and following his thumb with his eyes closed and he has to open his eyes where his thumb ends up. I was watching him do this and it is hard for him to keep his eyes closed when he does this and it is hard for him to open his eyes where his thumb was going to be at. It is very interesting to watch all of this going on, and now you see why we have a room dedicated to vision therapy pretty much at home. Thanks to dad for the awesome pics.... good idea, I will start taking some also!! And thanks to Aaron and Miss Jean for letting us photograph you!!!!!

Oh and Dad just informed me that Dr. Metzger took him in to look at his eyes again today and he has made huge improvements from where he first started!!!! Yea!!!!! Way to go Aaron, and we are not even a fourth of the way through yet!!! I am very very very very impressed and SO glad we decided to do this!!!! Can't wait to see how far he will go!!!!!!
